What happens when you scan
This server will read your public channels on your behalf — and, when you ask, look up other public channels and groups as you and preview them without joining — and it will connect you to @askmytele_bot — a one-off message sent from your account, the same as pressing “Start” yourself. It never joins or leaves anything, never posts to your channels, and never messages anyone but you.
To generate replies, this chat sends the conversation to a third-party model, Google’s Gemini. Content it reads during the chat is part of what is sent — from your channels, and from public channels and groups it looks up that you are not in. Google does not retain that content and does not use it to train models.
