Ask your AI about your Telegram.

Connect the public channels and open groups you already follow to Claude, and ask questions against them in plain language. Nothing is posted, nothing reaches anyone but you, no message is stored.

The problem

You're in forty channels and read four.

The rest accumulate. Somewhere in them is the thing you needed.

Telegram search matches strings, not meaning.

You remember someone recommended a plumber. You don't remember the word they used.

The useful posts are two per week.

The other thirty-eight are noise, and you can't tell which is which without reading all forty.

What you can ask

Plain-language questions against everything you follow.

Someone in my chats recommended a plumber a few months ago — find it.
Does anyone in my neighborhood's Telegram group sell a bicycle? Check daily and notify me.
Three channels are covering the same story. What actually happened?
I've been offline two weeks. What did I miss that matters?

How to connect

01

Add AskMyTele MCP to your client

02

Sign in with a QR code

Claude opens a login page showing a QR code. Scan it with your phone: Telegram → Settings → Devices → Link Desktop Device. Confirm inside your own Telegram app. If you have two-factor enabled, you'll be asked for your cloud password once.

  • Telegram app → Settings → Devices
  • Link Desktop Device → scan the code
  • Confirm — cloud password if 2FA is on
Telegram on a phone, Settings → Devices, with the Add Device button that opens the QR scanner

03

Ask a question

Try:

"What Telegram channels can you see?"
What it can and cannot do

All it can do is read, and message you.

The rest was left out on purpose.

Cannot read private chats, groups, or DMs

They never appear in any response — the AI never receives them at all. Only public channels and open supergroups are visible.

Cannot message anyone but you

No posting, replying, reactions, or forwarding. The one exception is a note sent to your own Telegram account, and it takes no recipient argument at all — there is no field anywhere in the tool surface that could name somebody else.

Cannot join or leave channels

It reads only what's already in your list.

Cannot find channels you're not in

No global search, no username lookup.

Cannot mark anything read

Your unread counts stay untouched.

Stores no messages

No database. Every question hits Telegram fresh and the answer isn't kept. Anonymous usage counts are recorded — see the footer.

Revoking access

You can cut it off without asking us.

The connection shows up in Telegram under Settings → Devices, like any other linked device. Terminate the session there and this stops working immediately.

This is alpha software. Read this before connecting.

  • Telegram restricts AI usage of platform content, and it isn't clear whether that covers this tool. Bans are unlikely at this scale — the risk is yours.
  • Message content is sent to whichever AI provider you connect — Anthropic, if you're using Claude. Their retention terms apply, not ours.
FAQ

Is this a bot?

No. Bots have to be added to a group by an admin and can only see what happens after they join. This connects as you, and reads what you can already read.

Does it work with private groups I'm in?

No. Public channels and open supergroups only. Private groups are out of scope deliberately, not by omission.

Do you see my messages?

Messages pass through the server to answer your question and aren't written anywhere. There's no database. There are server logs, which don't contain message content.

Why a QR code instead of a password?

So you never type a Telegram code into someone else's website. That's how Telegram accounts get stolen, and a legitimate service shouldn't ask you to practise it. You confirm inside your own app instead.

Can I choose which channels it sees?

Not yet. It sees your public channel list. Per-channel selection is on the roadmap and is the most requested change so far.
